Manitou Cliff Dwellings Museum

Explore the Manitou Cliff Dwellings, a replica of ancestral Puebloan cliff dwellings in Manitou Springs. The 800-1000 year old dwellings were meticulously moved and re-assembled to protect them from looters. See their tools, pottery, and weapons.

Manitou Incline

For the truly active person, the Incline is a cable car track turned into 2,768 steps up a steep grade. Whew! People come from all over the world to scale the Manitou Incline. By reservation only.

Cave of the Winds Mountain Park

Two cave tours to choose from – one is by lantern light! See millions of years’ worth of geologic formations that are still being formed today by water flowing through limestone. C’mon out of the cave and fly high above the canyon on zip lines or the Terror-dactyl! Woo-hoo!

Palmer Park

An enormous wilderness preserve in the heart of Colorado Springs with hiking, biking, and horseback-riding. Bring your own horse, or rent one at the park stables. Dog park, soccer field, volleyball courts, baseball diamonds, and picnic tables too. Incredible views of the mountain from every place in the park. Open year-round and totally free!

Valley Hi Golf Course

Play 18 holes of challenging golf on this Colorado Springs municipal course. You may find foxes and deer roaming the fairways, driving range, and putting green. Beautiful mountain views, pro-shop, lessons, and a full-service restaurant.

Fishing at Monument Lake

Just 30 minutes north of Colorado Springs, Monument Lake is stocked with rainbow trout and channel catfish, plus native populations of perch, bluegill, and largemouth bass. Enjoy boating fishing, hiking, and picnicking.

Manitou Winery

All wines are blended and bottled in house. Try their white, red, and fruit wines. Or blend your own wines! Daily wine tastings are handicap-accessible and dog friendly.

Bear Creek Dog Park

Your dog wants to enjoy the great outdoors too! Grassy prairies, hills, trails, and a gurgling creek comprise this 25 acre dog park. Big dog/little dog areas, dog wash station, picnic tables, public restrooms and plenty of water for dogs and their humans.
